Frago & Co Ltd is an independent advisory and transactions business, owned and managed by James and Sarah Davies.
We operate across real estate, rural & strategic land, and capital partnerships, providing strategic consulting, transaction advisory, and capital and land advisory services to a select group of clients and partners.
We are deliberately small, maintaining a selective instruction list, and we do not take on work for the sake of volume. Every engagement is accepted on its merits, conducted with undivided attention, and measured by the value it delivers. That discipline and independence is the foundation of everything we do.
The Business
Frago & Co was launched into the market in 2025, bringing together nearly 2 decades of experience across commercial property, strategic land, business leadership, and capital markets.
We build trusted relationships that drive strategic growth by connecting insight with opportunity; helping clients and partners identify, structure, and deliver value-driven outcomes in complex, multi-sector markets. Our focus is on creating long-term alignment between people, capital, and strategy, with a particular emphasis on real estate, land, and the ecosystems that surround them.
We operate across two disciplines: consultancy & transaction advisory. The standard is consistent across both, grounded in independent thinking, disciplined delivery, and a commitment to outcomes that represent genuine added value for the people we work with.

James Davies launched Frago & Co in April 2025, drawing on a career spanning nearly two decades of senior leadership, transaction delivery, and business building across the property, land, and investment sectors.
His executive career encompassed progressive leadership of a regional property and investment group (Wigley Group) from operational management through to Chief Executive. He oversaw the substantial growth of a land and property portfolio, delivered major development and construction projects, drove diversification across property, investment, and operating businesses, and conceived and delivered a number of new businesses and brands, most of which continue to operate successfully in their own right. He also helped establish two philanthropic funds which, to date, have raised over £180,000 in support of the armed forces and local community causes.
Alongside his executive career, James co-founded Newton LDP Ltd in 2021, a specialist land, development, and property agency, serving on its board as Non-Executive Director before stepping down and divesting his interests in April 2025. Newton LDP was established to deliver a genuinely independent, client-first service to landowners, developers, and property companies, a philosophy that continues to inform how James approaches every engagement through Frago & Co.
James holds a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture from the University of Reading and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Real Estate Management (RICS accredited) from Birmingham City University. He is Course Director at Warwick Racecourse (part of The Jockey Club) and Chair of The Old Princethorpians Alumni. He comes from a rural background and brings to every engagement a genuine understanding of land, its owners, and the long-term decisions that surround it.

Sarah Davies co-owns and manages Frago & Co alongside James. Her background is in Business Management, and she spent 8 years working in corporate Human Resources before focusing on their family.
She now brings that professional discipline to bear across all operational and administrative matters within the business, ensuring that Frago & Co functions with the same standard of rigour and care that it applies to its clients.

Beyond the services delivered through Frago & Co Ltd, James is also a co-founder and equity partner in Roseville Strategic Land, a specialist strategic land promotion business operating across England. At Roseville, James leads land identification and strategic partnership development, bringing the same depth of network, independent judgement, and instinct for long-term value that underpins everything he does through Frago & Co. The two businesses are distinct in their focus but complementary in their approach.
How We Work
We are selective by design. At any given time, we work with a small number of clients, which means the attention, thinking, and each individual relationship receives our full focus. We do not proceed without a clear and honest assessment of whether there is a genuine fit on both sides; discipline that protects both the quality of our work and the integrity of every relationship we enter.
Our network spans agency, development, investment, debt & equity partnerships, landowners, legal, accounting & taxation and growth-stage business leaders. These relationships have been built over many years and sustained by a consistent track record of delivery and a reputation for straight dealing.
